“Rez Dazye” is a comic narrative project that began as sketches in 2018. Now in 2023, the characters and stories that have been building up in my imagination have consumed my free time and came to life in this project. Our Mama Fish, Jackie, is a recipient of NDN Collective’s Radical Imagination grant for 2021!

She is putting the grant towards our studio’s first major project, “Colors of the Land” and investing into hosting our studio’s first workshop in 2022.

The “Colors of the Land” project is an educational coloring book on indigenous resistance that we are aiming to print 1,000 copies to send to youth across Turtle Island along with coloring pencils.
